Crime, Violence & Risk; Community Safety and Social Order; Crime History; Punishment, Policing & Social Control; Political and International Theory; European Politics; International Relations; Environmental Politics & Policy; Critical and Socio-Legal Studies; Law, Gender and Sexuality; Medical Law and Ethics; Law, Markets and Regulation; Cultural & Postcolonial studies, Migration, & International Human Rights.
Funding is for three years to cover fees for PhD registration (at home/EU rates) and a research studentship stipend equivalent to the research council rate (£12,600).

A failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of the studentship.
In order to be considered for a studentship you must complete an application form for PhD study.
