Country Representative, PSI, Cameroon, Central African Republic

Location: Cameroon and the Central African Republic

Date: To take up position no later than July 1,


  • Significant personnel and financial management experience, preferably in social marketing, commercial marketing, advertising, or communications;

  • At least five years work experience in a developing country;

  • At least five years work experience managing programs related to international health issues;
  • Relevant post-graduate degree (MBA, MIA, MPH, etc.) or equivalent experience;

  • Familiarity with the international donor community; knowledge of KfW, UNFPA, and USAID are advantageous;

  • Fluency in English and French, knowledge of Sango is advantageous.

    The successful candidate will be a creative, innovative and strategic thinker, and will have:

  • excellent communication, analytical, organizational, interpersonal and cross-cultural skills;

  • a strong interest in private sector approaches to development;

  • and proven ability to produce results.

    Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated fund raising ability, financial management, and experience in developing the capacity of local staff.
