Communications Officer 

The World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) is recruiting for the position of a Communications Officer to be based at its headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya reporting to the Director of Communications

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree in communications, journalism or related field and post graduate training
  • At least 5-10 years of relevant working experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Very good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to plan and organise work effectively and efficiently
  • IT proficiency, including use of graphic design software
  • The position is for Kenyan Nationals only.

    The World Agroforestry Centre offers a competitive salary, benefits package, collegial and gender-sensitive working environment.

    Depending on professional background and experience, indicative annual net base salary from Ksh. 2,520,900/- subject to statutory deductions.

    The position is for an initial period of three (3) years, subject to a six (6) month probation period and satisfactory performance.
