Dear,

Can you do something for me? I am looking for some really talented "A" students who have excelled at either primary or secondary school level and have been unable to pursue their studies in high school or university due to financial hardships.

Advance Africa in collaboration with some organizations and individuals are looking towards sponsoring several students in the coming year. For more details, see today’s newsletter.

Send interested candidates to the newsletter link above and they shall possibly get some help.

Application will only be by means of the provided form, no email enquiries please.

In addition, I am looking for families and individuals interested in hosting international volunteers in Africa. See the newsletter for more details and the relevant link to submit your information.

For readers in Uganda and Rwanda, I will be at Catholic Social Training Center at Rubaga (Kampala) on 29th and 30th May, 2008. I travel to Rwanda on 31st and leave on 1st June. Am yet to confirm the venue in Kigali. Get in touch using the telephone number below and I will update you by then.

This week’s thought - Belittlement!

"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great."

- Mark Twain.

Many thanks for your time. Keep in touch!

Kind regards,

Joe Ngugi.
