The Role

St Andrew’s Senior School is seeking to appoint an energetic and inspirational Head of Science. The successful candidate will be responsible for building an outstanding reputation for Science in the Senior School and for ensuring outstanding
teaching and learning throughout the Science Faculty.

Reporting to the Deputy Head Academic, the Head of Science is a member of the Academic Management Team (AMT) and ensures that decisions made at
AMT meetings are clearly communicated to all members of the faculty. The role is suited to a high calibre professional who combines exceptional leadership skills with significant teaching experience and the ability to support, monitor and report academic progress of students.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach Years 9-13 and inspire and encourage a love of Science in the students.

Experience of following the CIE IGCSE and A level courses would be an advantage.

Ability to teach Biology would be an added advantage.

The Role

St Andrew’s Senior School is seeking to appoint a Head of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL).
A love of foreign languages and a keen interest in teaching creatively are key requirements. The ideal candidate will join a thriving and well developed department, and will be expected to teach across Year 9 to Year 13.

Experience of following the French Edexcel IGCSE and A level courses would be an advantage. She/he must offer French as their main language.
The ability to teach a second subject would be an added advantage.

teachers. The Maths Department achieves excellent GCSE and A Level results.

The successful candidate will be required to teach Mathematics throughout the school from Years 9 to 13. Experience of following the Edexcel IGCSE and
A level courses would be useful. Familiarity with the Further Mathematics modules would be an added advantage.
