The Role:
●Assist the Finance Manager in producing monthly Management Accounts

●Cash/Bank Reconciliation

●Post Journal entries

●HR duties

●Preparation of asset schedules, prepayments and accruals

●Preparation of accounts up to Trial Balance stage

●General administrative duties

Key Skills:
●Strong Excel Skills

●Computer Literate

●Strong organisational skills

●Keen eye for detail

Qualifications
●Must have CPA or ACCA qualified.

●Degree or diploma in business admin is a must

●HR qualification is an added advantage

●Should have similar experience as an Accounts and Admin professional.

●Must be well groomed with an outgoing personality.

●Must be an excellent communicator.

Job Description:

  • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

  • Document financial transactions by entering account information.

  • Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.

  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

  • Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.

    Requirements:

  • Must be CPA K qualified.

  • Should have excellent numerical, finance, accounting and math skills.

  • Minimum 5 years work of experience in accounting

    • Able to work to a high level of accuracy
    • Computer literate ( outlook, excel and word)
    • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision

    • Responsible for maintaining the telecommunication system by ensuring all Switchboard lines are working efficiently.
