Develop strategies for the Livelihood Consortium project on national level
Monitor the Consortium project and ensure high technical quality and synergies

Minimum 7 years experience from working as a senior Programme Manager in a humanitarian/ recovery context
Proven experience in strategic development and program design, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation;
Demonstrated technical skills in one of the consortium sector: food security and livelihood, education, protection and disability;
Experience with multipurpose cash and vouchers program modalities
Experience with a range of donors, with specific experience and knowledge of DFID;
Demonstrated experience in logistics, procurement, HR and finance management, including grant compliance;
Experience in managing and leading projects within partner networks and / or consortia;
Experience working with national NGOs partners and local/government authorities;
Strong M&E experience, including in complex programmes with high-profile evaluations;
Experience in organizational representation, coordination and liaison;
Experience of implementing integrated livelihoods programming and of enabling the development and strengthening of livelihoods strategies
Experience of livelihoods assessments and data analysis in humanitarian and recovery settings
College / University, Bachelor's degree
Fluency in English, both written and verbal
Excellent writing and analytical skills
Understanding of Protection Principles
Previous experience in managing consortia work
Duty station: Nairobi
Contract period is for 12 months with possibility of extension.

5. Information Counselling and Legal Assistance - Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordination of ICLA Project in dadaab operation.
The project Coordinator report to the Deputy Area Manager in dadaab.
Coordinate and implement the ICLA project according to strategy, proposals and plans
Develop in writing the project proposals

Develop annual activity and work plans
Training and development of CC staff
Promote and share ideas for improvement and necessary changes in the activities
Cooperate with relevant partners and local authorities

Ensure proper filing of all project documents
University graduate in Law or Social Work with 5 years ICLA project implementation experience
Knowledgeable in communicating in Somalia language is an added advantage.

6. Finance Officer - (Kenyan Nationals Only)
The Finance Officer- Risk and Compliance provides support in ensuring that NRC Kenya Mission consistently complies with all the legal regulations, financial requirements and humanitarian standards set by NRC and its donor partners, while ensuring that the Country Office has effective governance, risk management and control system are in place.
The Finance Officer will report to the Country Director.
Implement NRC’s systems and procedures at area level
Ensure adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines and donor requirements
Prepare and submit reports and analysis
Support line managers in procedures and require support team trainings
Ensure that the accounting, monitoring and reporting are according to procedures
Support project staff in financial matters
Ensure development and implementation of administrative systems and procedures
Review organizational risk management strategies to assure the management that risk is adequately managed
Quality Assurance and Audit
Design and deliver the training action plans informed by audit reports and financial reviews.
Undertake regular systems review and conduct follow up on the job training for NRC offices
Review all NRC Kenya monthly financial vouchers and provide a report for completeness and compliance with the NRC Kenya mission policies, plans and procedures.
Ascertain the extent of compliance with the NRC Kenya mission policies, plans and procedures.
Provide internal review reports, which highlight internal controls weaknesses and include recommendations for appropriate action.
Assist management in updating operations manual to ensure adequate internal controls and internal checks.
Identify any areas of risk exposure to the mission, discuss with Finance Manager and Country Director and address the risks identified.
Act as the focal point for external audits, provide necessary documents required and responding to management letters.
Monitor progress on the implementation of the recommended actions in internal and external reviews reports
