GPA Ratings!

In kenya, the ratings are in terms of, A for very good, B for good, C for average, and D for a pass. But the ratings for the many scholarships i've tried to apply are in the GPA system which is not common here. Pliz show me how to convert the above ratings to fit our's in Kenya.
