1. FKE Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant


The Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) is the umbrella body that brings together employers from all sectors of the economy.

FKE champions employers’ interests and seeks to ensure that national socioeconomic and labour policies create an environment favourable to enterprise growth, sustainability and employment.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Personal Executive Assistant provides support to the Chief Executive Officer by coordinating the day to day management of the Chief Executive Officer’s office.

This role will be responsible for a wide range of tasks to support a dynamic fast-paced office.

Ideal candidate will possess
  • A Bachelors degree in any business related field from an accredited university
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations, human resources or Diploma in Secretarial Studies
  • At least 7 years’ administrative experience in a fast paced professional service environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • A high level of resilience and flexibility and problem solving skills
  • Integrity and high degree of confidentiality, planning and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment and exercise sound judgment and discretion


    2. Industrial Relations Officer
    Reporting to the Head of Industrial Relations, the Industrial Relations Officer is responsible for assisting members in handling Labour Relations including Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations, consultations and representation during conciliation of disputes at the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Labour Relations Court and other forums.

    Ideal candidate will possess
  • Bachelor of Arts or Social Science Degree
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations
  • Member of the IHRM
  • At least 5 years relevant qualification experience
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with Trade Unions and handle disputes, grievances and discipline issues
  • Ability to negotiate, conclude and prepare Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs)
  • Integrity and high degree of confidentiality, planning and organizational skills with
    a high level of attention to detail
  • Experience in training is an added advantage


    3. Regional Branch Manager

    Reporting to the Head of Industrial Relations, the Regional Manager provides leadership to drive membership growth and uptake of FKE services in the regions in line with the organizations strategy and priorities.

    The Person
  • Bachelor of Laws or a Social Science Degree
  • Masters in Business Administration,
  • Masters of Law or other relevant Masters Degree will be an added advantage
  • Post graduate Diploma in Law / Human Resource Management/ Industrial Relations
  • Current membership/practising Certificate from a relevant professional body
  • At least 8 years relevant experience in Legal Practice, Human Resource Management or Labour Relations
  • Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with Trade Unions and to handle industrial disputes, grievances and disciplinary issues at all levels
  • Ability to negotiate, conclude and prepare Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs)
  • Ability to draft opinions and memorandums.
  • Integrity and high degree of confidentiality, planning and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
