Beware of Impartial Scholarships!
by: Kunenda

Applying for scholarships especially in European universities is not easy. This is my advice. Instead you apply elsewhere. Europeans favor to offer scholarships only to their fellow Europeans. One trick they use is this: condition one-you must apply a college and be accepted before you apply scholarships. Admission letters come mostly in March and Scholarship applications for Africans and other students from developing countries have to submit their scholarship applications by March. EU students and those from developing world has their deadline being June or July.
And given that the academic year commence on September, it means you will take a year if you are a slow thinker to realize that the scholarship is not meant for third world countries.
The so called DAAD/Commonwealth scholarships do not help much because you have to be nominated by your government department/university. If you don't have a relative,, big bribes including sex or godfather there, you are unlucky my friend
I have been a victim, once bitten, twice shy!
