Duties and responsibilities
  • Carrying out non-clinical work, assessing the dental health needs of populations rather than individuals;
  • Managing oral health clinics by organizing and scheduling clinic days, patient flows and referrals;
  • Visiting and educating patients on oral healthcare;
  • Maintaining patients' dental records;
  • Implementation of community Oral health care programs.

    Basic qualifications
  • Be a Kenyan citizen
  • Diploma in Community Oral Health from a recognized institution.
  • Post-basic Certificate in either Epidemiology, Health Education, Medical Education, Community Dentistry,
    Conservative Dentistry, Periodontology, Orthodontics/Paedontics or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 2 Years’ experience post qualification in a busy dental department.
  • Must have good inter-personal and communication skills
  • Must satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

    Duties and responsibilities
  • Registering and booking appointments for patients/clients(patient scheduling)
  • Storing and retrieving medical Records and Documents.
  • Gathering data from different sources e.g Laboratory, X-Ray, etc.
  • Maintaining Record safety and Confidentiality.
  • Perform data entry into the Department of Health database (DHIS)
  • Undertake data analysis relevant to project activities and dissemination at facility level.
  • Support clinical and community staff in utilization of data collection tools, collation and dissemination of data.
  • Support the M&E Officer in organising identified program assessments such as DQA, CQI and need assessment for CME on data tools and data management.
  • Keep up to date facility related data and reports for reference by the program team as well as other stakeholders.
  • Providing data for internal (MOH) and donor reports
  • Editing patient case Records
  • Directing patients to the relevant clinics or consulting rooms.

    Basic qualifications
  • Must be a Kenyan Citizen.
  • Must be a holder of a Diploma in Health Records and Information Technology from a recognized Institution in Kenya.
  • Must have knowledge on functions and operation of electronic medical records.
  • Familiar with MOH data collection and reporting tools.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010

    Duties and responsibilities
  • Dispensing of medicines and counseling patients on medicine use
  • Medicines stock control; filling medicines registers and inventory management tools
  • Compounding of extemporaneous preparations
  • Medicines supply chain activities; assisting in the collection of pharmaceutical related data/information.
  • Supervising the work of pharmacist interns,
    Pharmaceutical technologists and students.
  • Writing guidelines or standard operating procedures for drug use within the hospital and implementing hospital
    regulations
  • Serves as a member of policy-making committees, including those concerned with drug selection, the use of antibiotics, and hospital infections (Drug and
    Therapeutics Committee) and thereby influences the preparation and composition of an essential-drug list or formulary
  • Educating other health professionals about the rational use of drugs;
  • Detection, documentation and generating reports on adverse drug reactions and poor quality medicines. (Pharmacovigilance activities)
  • To perform any other duties as may be assigned to you by the immediate supervisor.

    Basic qualifications
  • Kenyan citizen
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
  • Registered with the Pharmacy & Poisons Board (PPB) of Kenya
  • Certificate in Computer applications from a recognized institution
  • At least two (2) years’ experience after registration.
  • Must satisfy requirements of Chapter six of the constitution
  • Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
  • Must have good inter-personal and communication skills
  • Must satisfy the requirements of chapter six
