Bibliomondialis will offer grants to attend the IFLA 2008 Conference in Quebec.
Bibliomondialis was created by the Canadian Library Association (CLA) and the Association pour l'avancement des sciences et des techniques de la documentation (ASTED).
Grants will be offered to delegates from developing countries.
Criteria:
Must be employed in a library;
Must be a paid up member of your National Library Association;
Application form must be supported by Head of Institution, acknowledging leave will be granted to the candidate for purposes of attending IFLA;
Candidates will be expected to enter into an agreement with LIASA to accept the conditions of the grant and to undertake to refund all monies if he/she is not attending the Congress;
Documentation required:
Recent CV
Motivation for attending the Conference (300-500 words).
Signed Application form
If qualified attach copies Certified copy of identity document/ Passport Proof of membership of Professional Association Proof of employment
A person not providing all the required documentation will be disqualified.
