Qualifications:
1. Significant (at least 1 year) field experience working with an INGO in increasing positions of reportage and responsibility.
2. Experience (at least 1 year) developing and implementing humanitarian activities with a focus on protection, youth, women, and / or community capacity.
3. An undergraduate degree in international relations, human rights, economics, women's studies, or related fields; graduate degree a plus.
4. Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills.
5. Logistical planning and problem-solving skills.
6. Experience with data collection and analysis.
7. At least entry-level experience living and working in dynamic, insecure environments and with local communities.
8. Ability to live and function at a high capacity within a collaborative organizational structure and from within a remote post.
9. Understanding of the political and cultural context in Sudan and Eastern and Central Africa and a strong interest in working in the region
10. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
11. Demonstrated statistical survey, analysis, and presentation skills
12. Demonstrated budget and expense management skills.
