Location: Nairobi
The candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Project Manager in overseeing that all client-support tasks and project accorded to him are done to completion and satisfactorily.
Requirements:
Good Knowledge of Database technology - Oracle/MySQL/MSSQL
Excellent and Proven knowledge, experience and skill in web design, content management systems (Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal)
Excellent and proven skill/experience in database driven website design
Knowledge in various Scripting Languages (VBScript, Javascript, MMBScript, among others.)
Skill and experience in web development and markup languages (XML, PHP, ASP, CHM, DHTML among others)
Should have a vast understanding and experience of HTML, XHTML, DHTML, ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, CSS styling, and XML that aid in creating flexible websites that are dynamic and spontaneous.
Possesses experience in integration between the Content Management Systems to Third Party Applications, or other web based interfaces like Communities, Blogs, Forums, Learning Management System among others.
Excellent experience and skill in graphics design and graphics manipulation using several well known softwares namely Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Flash and Fireworks, Photoshop CS3, Illustrator, Coraldraw 13 and any others.
Exceptional knowledge and experience in flash and digital animations
Experience in graphics conversion to various formats like JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, BMP among others while applying encoding, interlaced or encoded for web optimization.
Excellent skills in Search Engine Optimization
Adequate experience with Microsoft Server NT/2000/2003, IIS and Apache.
Should provide a list of live sites that demonstrate the technical experience stated above.
Minimum qualification - Certificate in IT, Diploma in IT or equivalent experience.
