Water and Sanitation Project Officer, GOAL - Niger

Location: Niger (Zinder)

Required:
2 + years of relevant overseas experience
Relevant qualification in WatSan, Environmental Health or Engineering
Experience in design and implementation of rural community water supply projects, including health and hygiene promotion components
Experience in proposal and report writing with proven ability to secure donor funding
Diplomatic, non confrontational attitude when confronted with difficult or circumstances
Self motivated
Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
Team player, flexible and capable of working with a multinational team
Ability and willingness to work and travel in sometimes basic field conditions
Strong organizational, staff management and personnel skills
Desirable:
Experience in liaising with government officials and donors
Good written and spoken French language skills
Budgetary control and financial management skills
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel and ideally AutoCad
