WFP Drought Response Programme Coordinator, CARE - Zimbabwe

Stationed in Masvingo, Food Aid Programme Coordinator will report directly to Relief Coordinator & closely work with all the relevant departments in the mission & Sub-offices.

Location: Zimbabwe (Masvingo)

Closing date: 14 Sep 2007

Qualifications/Skills:

- Proven work experience in CARE in emergency relief operations.

- Proven capacity to accept responsibility & able to work independently.

- Proven team building and coordination skills.

- Proven capabilities to write clear logical & informative reports in English.

- Ability to adapt to changing environment, sensitive to the local culture and demonstrated positive attitude towards work.

- Experience in project management overseas.

- More than 5 years experience in relief operation and project support management is a must.

- Computer literate and able to work with various packages; Ms Excel, word, power point and Access a must.

- Able to work under strenuous conditions and produce tangible results.

Competencies:

- Good communication skills and Public relations

- Ability to work with minimal supervision: prepare work plans, strong analytical skills, able to build strong teams and motivate them.

- Good report writing skills
