The Centre for Computational Finance and Economic Agents (CCFEA) at the University of Essex announces two bursaries for October 2008

  • £2,500 bursary to be awarded to the best full-time student enrolling on the University's MSc Financial Software Engineering.
  • £2,500 bursary will be shared between the best full-time student on the University's MSc Computational Finance and MSc Agent Based Computational Economics and E-Markets

    All students who wish to be considered must have fully completed their application and provided the relevant documentation by the 15 June.

    As the award is competitive, students who are short listed typically have a distinction or a very high 2.1 first Degree.

    Duration of all full time MSc Taught programmes is one year

    Start month: October

    Study options Full time or part time

    Entry requirements 2.1 in appropriate discipline

    English language requirement: For all the above MSc schemes, non-UK applicants whose native language is not English may be require to take a TOEFL or IELTS English test and achieve a minimum score of 540 (p) or 207 (c) 76 (iBT) respectively.
