URSI Awards for Young Scientists

A limited number of awards are available to assist young scientists from both developed and developing countries to attend the URSI Commission B EMTS.

To qualify for an award, the applicant:

  • Must be less than 35 years old on August 1st

  • Should have a paper, of which she or he is the principal author, submitted and accepted for oral or poster presentation at a regular session of the Symposium.

    Applicants should also be interested in promoting contacts between developed and developing countries.

    All successful applicants are expected to participate fully in the scientific activities of the Symposium.

    They will receive free registration, and financial support for board and lodging at the Symposium.

    Limited funds will also be available as a contribution to the travel costs of young scientists from developing countries

    Please submit three copies of each of the following:

  • A completed application form
  • A CV and list of previous publications
  • The proposed paper as submitted through the symposium website.

    Applications will be assessed by the EMTS Technical Program Committee.

    Deadline: 15th January.
