The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme is the UN organization that contributes to peace and development through volunteerism worldwide.

Volunteer-ism is a powerful means of engaging people in tackling development challenges, and it can transform the pace and nature of development.

The programme seeks to recruit:

Community & Gender Development Facilitator - Nigeria

Required Skills and Expertise

  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent in Community Health, Social Works, Agric and Rural Development, Sociology or related field.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Have good interpersonal and Organization skills.
  • Fluency in English and Hausa Languages are essential.
  • Demonstrate ability to work and mobilize communities to implement development project.
