Hilton Nairobi is scouting for a high caliber individual who will be part of a dynamic HR team that will assist in meeting the corporate opportunities of 2009 and beyond.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct training needs assessments for the Hotel in consultation with the HR Manager & Area Training Manager, ensuring relevance and conformity to the Hotel’s objectives.
Conduct training programmes according to the hotels strategy, while meeting training needs of Team Members within the established budget.
Carry out post- training performance evaluation programmes and assess the impact on staff & business operations.
Continuously revise and update existing Hilton Training Programmes.
Coordinate and evaluate internal and external training programmes.
Introduce outside materials, films, videos etc. for specific training needs and maintain the library of training material.
Participates in the selection and certifying of Departmental Team Coaches.
Support the Hotel’s Internship program.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Education or related field.
Post Graduate diploma in Human Resource Development is desirable.
Minimum of 3 years experience in Organizational Training.
Personal Specifications:
Ability and initiative to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Well developed communication skills, both written and verbal, at staff all levels.
Proven leadership skills.
