The Google 2006 Australia Anita Borg Scholarship
The Google 2006 Australia Anita Borg Scholarship encourages women to excel in computing and technology and become active role models and leaders.
A group of female undergraduate and postgraduate student finalists will be chosen from the applicant pool.
The scholarship recipients, selected from the finalists, will each receive a $5,000 AUD scholarship for the 2007 academic year.
All finalists will be invited to visit Google Sydney in November 2006 for a networking retreat
Candidates must be:
A female student enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program in 2007 at a university in Australia.
Studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related technical fields.
Enrolled in full-time study in 2007.
On track for first class honours (for undergraduate students only) and be able to provide supporting documentation.
An Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or international student at an Australian university.
Complete the online application form and submit the requested documentation via mail.
All applications must be postmarked by Friday, September 15th, 2006.
