The GSMA Global Mobile Awards

Honouring excellence and innovation in mobile communications, the GSMA is proud to announce the call for entries to the 15th Annual Global Mobile Awards.

The GSMA Global Mobile Awards is the premier international showcase of product, service and creative excellence for the mobile industry; awards include a wide range of categories that are relevant for players of all sizes in the mobile value chain.

There are many exciting enhancements for the 2010 awards, starting with a host of new categories that are relevant to the very broad industry eco-system; from mobile marketing & advertising, mobile money for unbanked and the Best Mobile Connected Device (for non handsets) to a new Mobile Industry Personality of the Year award, all complement our traditional line up of categories that showcase the world's best mobile services, products, applications, technologies, initiatives and campaigns.

Eligibility:

  • The GSMA's Global Mobile Awards 2010 are open to all eligible mobile industry and supporting industry companies in the broad eco-system, as defined in the individual category eligibility descriptions (including GSMA Members, Associate Members and Non-members).

  • All products, services, applications, solutions, initiatives etc entered must be supportive of, or be deployed over mobile networks that use the GSM family of mobile technologies e.g. GSM, GPRS, EDGE, W-CDMA and HSPA.

  • All products or services submitted for the Global Mobile Awards must have been commercially available before 23rd November 2009, except for category 4b, the Mobile Money for the Unbanked award, where trials and pilots are eligible for these nascent type services - providing the trial/pilot involves more than 1,000 users.

  • Products can be manufactured, or service provided anywhere in the world.

  • Entries will only be accepted when submitted in the English language.

There is no maximum number of entries permitted from a single organisation.

You can submit as many different entries to as many categories as you would like.

    Deadline: 23rd November
