Tamarind Hospitality Consulting, a leading resort at the Kenya Coast is seeking experienced hotel managers to fill the following positions:
1. Resident Manager
Qualifications:
Hotel Management Degree or Diploma from a recognized international institution, or degree in other related field.
5 years management experience in a minimum of 2 operational departments, preferably in a 5 star hotel or resort with more than 100 rooms and a sizeable F&B operation.
Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in P&L and budget management.
2. Rooms Division Manager
Qualifications:
Hotel Management Degree or Diploma from a recognized international institution or degree in other related field.
5 years experience gained in rooms and front office management.
Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
3. Executive Housekeeper
Qualifications:
Degree/diploma in hotel management or equivalent in any related field.
3-5 years experience in housekeeping senior management position preferably in a 4/5 star hotel.
Operational knowledge of housekeeping equipment and machines.
4. Front Office Manager
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in hotel management or equivalent in any related field.
3 to 5 years experience in a front office management position, preferably in a 4 or 5 star hotel.
Knowledge of yield management, hospitality property management systems and Microsoft office systems.
5. Assistant Front Office Manager
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma or certificate in hospitality management or equivalent in any related field.
3 to 5 years experience in a front office management position, preferably in a 4 or 5 star hotel.
Knowledge of yield management, hospitality property management systems and Microsoft office systems.
6. Deputy Engineer
Qualifications:
Diploma in Engineering or related field.
Specialization in a specific building trade.
Minimum 3 years employment in a similar position.
7. F & B Controller
Qualifications:
Diploma or certificate in accounting.
3 to 5 years experience in a front office management position, preferably in a 4 or 5 star hotel.
Knowledge of Micros, Material Control preferable.
8. Assistant F & B Manager
Qualifications:
Degree, diploma or certificate in hospitality management or equivalent in any related field.
Strong interpersonal communication, influencing and creative problem solving skills.
Expert knowledge of Fidelio and Micros or other hospitality point-of-sale system.
9. Security Manager
Qualifications:
Security management certification or a combination of relevant education and experience.
Minimum 5 years experience in a management or senior role in security operations either from the police, military forces or reputable security firm.
Demonstrate knowledge of relevant national laws and guidelines regarding emergency and security.
10. Assistant Human Resources Manager
Qualifications:
Diploma in Human Resources Management or other related field.
3-5 years experience in human resource in a management role.
Proficiency of Microsoft Office Software: Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
Knowledge of computerized HR Information Systems.
11. Legal Officer
Qualifications:
LLB degree in Law from a recognized institution and diploma in Human Resource Management or related field.
2 years of professional experience with a minimum of 1 year as an Advocate in legal practice.
Demonstrated strong strategic thinking and decision making skills.
