The Systems Strengthening/Policy Officer is part of the PEPFAR Rwanda USG Sustainability Team and basic functions include the following:
-Provides technical advice to the Ministry of Health and other GOR institutions on integrated and cost effective health policies related to health finance, human capacity development, and training;
-Assists the GOR in coordination/consolidation of training activities, refresher courses and evaluation of training quality to support HIV and other health programs; and,
-Serves as a liaison to and technical expert with private sector and the donor community to ensure optimal use of resources and complementarity of program activities and strategies.
