Qualifications and experience:
Advanced University degree in Advanced university degree in Social Sciences, Demography, Development Planning, Statistics or a related technical field.;
Minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional work experience at national and international levels in the field of research and analyses relating to programme monitoring and evaluation;
Specialized training in statistics ability to use statistical software (CS Pro/SPSS);
Experience of maintaining country level social indicator databases (Familiarity with the DevInfo database highly desirable);
Previous experience of conducting research in Somalia an asset;
Good command of both written and verbal English language;
Good interpersonal communication skills.
