Kenya Ports Authority is seeking a dynamic, analytical and committed individual to join its team as a statistical assistant
Reporting to the Statistical Officer (MI), the holder is responsible for collecting, compiling and analysing data with the aim of providing timely and accurate statistics to support policy making and strategic planning.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Providing statistical assistance and support by collecting, processing, compiling, computing, analysing, editing and/or presenting statistical data.
Drafting standard statistical reports and assisting in the preparation of periodic publications such as Quarterly Performance Review Reports and Annual Bulletin of Statistics
Tabulating and analysing data collected for statistical study or survey.
Regularly updating traffic database and running routine statistical analyses using Excel, SAP and KWATOS.
Requirements for the Post
A Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or a closely related field.
Experience in using computers to perform data analysis.
Attentive to details and able to work under tight timelines and pressure.
At least 2 years experience in a relevant field.
