Short Course International Travel Scholarships - 6th Technical Course on Impact Assessment and Heritage in Sudan

Short Course International Travel Scholarships: The AFRICA 2009 Programme will offer successful candidates scholarships for tuition, international travel, and modest living expenses to attend the 6th Technical Course on Impact Assessment and Heritage in sudan. However each participant is required to pay a registration fee of $50 (US dollars).

The AFRICA 2009 Programme, the Centre for Heritage Development in Africa (CHDA) and the National Corporation for Antiquities and Museums (NCAM) of Sudan

Objectives:

1) To introduce participants to Impact Assessment and its use as a heritage management tool.

2) To familiarize participants with the practical process of impact assessment.

3) To sensitize policy makers on the usefulness of impact assessment for heritage protection.
