Senior Advisor for Capacity Development -  Lusaka, Zambia

Location: Lusaka, Zambia

Required skills and experience:

  • A minimum master's degree in development studies, economics, public policy/public administration or a related field
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in international development cooperation, with extensive recent field experience working on developing countries, on national and local development

  • Excellent South-South experiences in capacity development and contacts with Southern institutions Knowledge and understanding of integrated approaches to development, with a focus on capacity development Familiarity with codified capacity assessment methodologies and applications

  • Demonstrable work experience in building partnerships, knowledge networking, resource and programme management
  • Appropriate regional experience, including knowledge of key regional development institutions
  • Excellent command of English, including drafting and presentation skills;
  • and full working proficiency in English
