Scarce Skills Scholarship Programme

Scarce Skills Scholarship Programme: The National Research Foundation (NRF) - South Africa - are pleased to announce the Scarce Skills Scholarship Programme for Masters and PhD students registered at South African universities within specific scarce skills areas.

The fields supported under this programme are:

  • Management: Economic and Management Sciences, Financial Management

  • Financial sector: Accounting, Auditing, Statistics, Actuarial Science

  • Biological sciences: Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Microbiology

  • Physical sciences: Mathematical Sciences, Physics, Geology, Computer Science, Demography, Information Systems, Chemistry

  • Engineering

  • Sector specific: Agricultural Sciences, Transportation Studies, Tourism

    The application deadline is the 30 June.
