School for International Training (SIT) Study Abroad Scholarships

About one-third of scholarship applicants receive financial assistance to participate in SIT Study Abroad programs.

Only School for International Training (SIT) Study Abroad participants can be considered for SIT Study Abroad scholarships.

Awards generally range from $500 to $5,000. Financial need is a primary consideration for all scholarship decisions other than those for the SIT Asia Fund, which places more emphasis on merit.

Scholarship funds are available for semester and summer participants.

Before You Apply for SIT Scholarships:

  • Review financial aid options through your home college.
  • Note that your scholarship application will only be reviewed if it is complete and you have been accepted to an SIT Study Abroad program.
