An exciting research opportunity is available for highly qualified graduates with Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Chemical Engineering degrees for further studies leading to the award of a PhD degree.
You will undertake work on an EPSRC funded project to design and implement electrical impedance tomography (EIT) software for experimentally validating a numerical model of unsteady two-phase flow containing intermittent Kelvin-Helmoltz wave structures.
The project is part of a collaborative research programme involving Huddersfield, Leeds and Nottingham Universities.
Applicants with MSc or research experience on software engineering, experimental fluid mechanics and Electrodynamics are particularly welcome.
The studentship for three years will provide full student fees and living expenses (subject to further arrangement).
The studentship is opened to UK, European and overseas applicants.
