GVEP International’s regional office has been operational since July 2008 in East Africa.The East Africa Regional Office (EARO) manages regional activities and the office is located in Nairobi.
GVEP-International is currently looking for an innovative, team oriented Regional Manager to support the Head Office CEO and COO in the management of the East Africa regional office and its programmes.
Qualifications:
At least a Masters degree in either of the following fields; energy, engineering, economics, environmental sciences or any other relevant field.
Knowledge of African energy access and energy infrastructure issues.
Experience in renewable energy in a senior management position.
Experience of working closely with international development cooperation or donor organisations, ensuring compliance with Grant Agreement requirements.
Minimum of 8 Years Experience in managing international donor programmes on energy related issues and working experience within East Africa region and or neighbouring countries.
