Psychosocial Consultant, IFTDH - Sudan

Swiss based Foundation providing direct aid to children in need is looking for its emergency projects for a Psychosocial Consultant.
Location: Sudan (Geneina, West Darfur)
Closing date: 05 Oct 2007
Qualification:
- University degree, preferably a graduate degree, in psychology, social work, or related field.
- Two to three years of experience in training local staff and agents for social work with children.
- Experience in Africa with previous work experience in refugee/IDP settings, complex emergencies and/or post conflict situations
- Work on international development/ humanitarian assistance program in the area of child protection or psychosocial assistance.
- A solid understanding of psychosocial and social work support methods.
- Extensive training experience.
- Demonstrated training materials development experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and an all around team player
- Fluent in English and French, Arabic a plus
- 28 years old minimum
