The required profile for this position

  • Bachelor to PHD degree in social sciences, social marketing, medicine or paramedical studies.
  • Expertise on the issues of HIV/AIDS and on tuberculosis and questions related to health, namely in Africa, in relationship with the subjects of Human Rights and respect for diversity ;
  • Knowledge and practice of the management of projects : command of the drafting, the planning, the implementation and the assessment of programmes and projects of development, (experience in the management of projects directed to people affected by the HIV/AIDS virus represents a noticeable asset);

  • Global knowledge of the information and communication sector in West Africa ;
  • Practice of journalism, in print media in particular, would be a plus;
  • Familiarity with the issues of gender and diversities (cultural and linguistic ones) ;
  • A minimum of 5 years of accurate professional experience in similar positions ;
  • Languages : Excellent command of spoken and written English and French, namely as working languages;
  • Command of usual computer softwares (Office) and of the Internet.
  • Required qualities: leadership, great autonomy, reactiveness, dynamism, results and problems' solving- oriented mind, ability to work in team and great ease in the development of networks and of interpersonal relationships.

  • Because of the high number of dossiers expected, only short- listed applicants will be informed of the results of the early selection process in the week of the 16th to 20th April.
  • Short-listed candidates will be submitted to an electronic test at a distance that would last a half day in the week-end of 21st to 22nd April or on Monday 23rd April according to their plannings.
  • Their convocation to a face- to- face interview will be confirmed during the week going from 7th to 11th May.
