Project Administrator in Goma
The position is to be filled immediately.
You will be working in Goma.
The projects in the region of North-Kivu envisage rehabilitation and stabilization of the province which has been affected through the ongoing civil war by way of adjusted measures.
As a Project Administrator you are responsible for the financial and logistical administration of projects.
You ensure that the measures are carried out in accordance with the directives of co-financers and Welthungerhilfe.
Managing project funds appropriately and according to schedule (calling in of funds, bank transactions, bookkeeping, budgetary control, equipment)
Cash management at the construction sites as well as instruction of the local staff concerning financial administration
Development and implementation of control mechanisms in the field of logistics and consumption
Collaboration to prepare and draw up financial reports and preparation of audits for co-financers
Vocational training or a university degree in financial management
Several years' experience in the administration of the co-funded projects of international (relief) organisations
The ability to work under pressure in conflict areas
Very good computer skills (esp. accounting software e.g. WINPACCS, AMS etc.)
Proficiency in written and spoken French and English
You can expect to work in an exceptionally motivated team and to be assigned responsible duties.
