Programme Manager, Harper, Liberia

Danish Refugees Council (DRC) is looking for an experienced and capable Programme Manager to head their programme in South-eastern Liberia.

Qualifications

  • Solid professional international field experience at senior level

  • Demonstrated HRM and leadership experience

  • Practical experience at all levels of the programme cycle (undertaking assessment, planning, implementation, monitoring and documenting ones results)

  • Acceptance of, and preferably experience from, working under difficult conditions in conflict-affected areas

  • Experience with working with ECHO and Danida guidelines is an advantage

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and computer literate. Knowledge of French will be an added advantage

  • Valid driver's license

    Conditions

    Duty station, residence: Harper, Maryland County.

    Non-family duty station.

    Contract: One year, with possibility of extension depending on performance and funding.

    Salary and conditions in accordance with DRC's Terms of Employment for Expatriates (see www.drc.dk under Vacancies).

    The position is placed at level B1.

    Commencement: 23. May (preferable)
