  • A degree in the environmental and related sciences, the social sciences, business, development studies, development finance or other related disciplines (preferably an advanced degree);
  • a clear sensitivity to the interrelationships between the two fields of environment and development and development finance;
  • an understanding of program development and the ability to conceptualize programmatic ideas and strategies;
  • strong managerial, organizational, financial and interpersonal skills;
  • excellent analytical and writing skills in English;
  • and strong facilitating skills.
  • Experience in East Africa or similar developing countries' experience is preferred. Grant making experience will be an advantage.

    Location: Nairobi, Kenya.

    Salary Salary is based on experience and on the Foundation's commitment to internal equity.
