Program Analyst/Information Officer - OTI Project
Closing Date: 15 May.
Advise on the political relevance of program activities and be responsible for political analysis, providing advice to the COP on all activities with regard to political relevance, likelihood of success, and areas of caution.
Coordinate the monitoring and evaluation efforts.
Manage the program’s information and communication efforts.
Ensure that design, monitoring, evaluation, and relevant reporting are taking place from a political transition perspective and are being captured in documentation, reports, and appropriate sections of the OTI Activity database at each stage of project development, implementation, and close-out. Department’s expectations in terms of reporting.
Compile appropriate reporting on program status and impact, including success stories, press releases, quarterly reports, annual reports, and ad hoc reports on how the program responds to particular issues.
Sound political acumen and the capacity for political analysis.
A minimum of three years of demonstrated experience in related work, including monitoring and evaluation, analysis, and/or reporting of program implementation and results.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, fluency in English, and experience in writing reports on short deadlines.
Experience in political journalism as well as report and/or proposal writing will be advantageous.
