The Privatisation Commission was established by an Act of Parliament, as the sole authority for the implementation of the privatisation programme in Malawi. It is an agency of the Government of Malawi established in 1996.
The Commission Currently seeks to recruit qualified candidates to fill the position of:
1. Corporate Affairs Officer - Ref: PC/HRM/6-2010
Reporting to the Executive Director/CEO, the Corporate Affairs Officer will be responsible for the formulation and execution of sound communication strategy for the Commission.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, Communication, Public Relations, or Journalism from a reputable University
At least five (5) years working experience in a public relations, communications or journalism environment of a reputable organization
Excellent communication skills, including script and speech writing
Ability to influence other’s behavior, make operational decisions, identify opportunities and build strategic relationships; proven track record in driving PR activities in medium to large sized organizations
Applicants must also be computer literate.
