Southampton University Law School will be offering up to 8 studentships in designated research fields.
These include biotechnology law, company law, comparative land law, comparative and EU competition law, criminal law, education and social welfare law, environmental law, EU and international (human rights) law, international commercial arbitration and litigation, international and comparative law of evidence, IT and IP law, Law of the Internet and e-commerce, taxation, and tort law.
The School is one of only 8 UK law schools to hold the highest rating for outstanding international excellence in legal research (RAE 5*) and currently has some 30 students in candidature for the M.Phil./PhD. degrees.
Some studentships will include the opportunity to be a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA).
All are fixed term for one year, but renewable thereafter up to three years in total, subject to satisfactory progress.

Studentships open to All Students:
Up to 5 studentships consisting of: fee waiver at UK/EU level.
ORSAS funding for international students may be available.
