Public Relations Officer PB 6.2
Key Responsibilities:
Handling customer correspondence through the media, letters, telephone and verbally.
Participating in the preparation and organization of events and functions that the Bank participates in e.g. exhibitions, press conferences and release, radio programmes and Corporate Social Responsibility activities-sponsorship events and donations.
Drafting press statements and speeches and monitoring coverage by media.
Carrying out press reviews on a daily basis on issues touching the bank and update the management accordingly.
Maintaining a scrap book on items touching on the Bank.
Writing articles for the in-house magazine/newsletter.
Participating in organizing media functions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Communication or related field.
Diploma in Journalism, Mass media, Public Relations or Communications.
Computer proficiency.
2 years experience in Public Relations or Journalism.
Good writing skills.
Good command of English and Kiswahili languages.
Age below 30 years.
