The Diabetes Research Centre at UCD has recently received a major award from Science Foundation Ireland on "The Initiation, Progression and Potential Regression of Diabetic Kidney Disease".

Several opportunities are available at PhD Student level.

Expressions of interest are invited from candidates with interests and/or expertise in the following domains:

  • Molecular cell biology
  • Animal models of disease
  • Cellular signal transduction
  • Bioinformatics
