The Dept of Psychology at the University of Limerick invites applications for a three year PhD studentship commencing September.

The successful applicant will undertake research into social identity processes underpinning public national commemorative events.

Requirements:

  • Applicants should have or expect to receive at least an upper second honours degree in psychology and have demonstrable interest in social psychology.
  • A good grounding in psychological research methods is essential and experience in conducting qualitative research and/or experimental research is desirable. Selection will be made on academic merit.

    The studentship is worth €16,000 per year, plus payment of full registration fees.
