PhD and Postdoc Scholarship, University of Queensland Social Research Centre

University of Queensland Social Research Centre is offering two PhD scholarships in overseas policing operations and a PhD Scholarship in Applied Statistics.

The Person: Candidates for the PhD Scholarships in Economic, or related disciplines and preferably Policing, should have a background in Political Science, International Studies and, ideally, should have worked on peace operations and/or overseas policing.

Candidates for the PhD Scholarship in Applied Statistics should have an Honours degree in Applied Statistics or Social Science with a strong component of Statistics or Econometrics.

Experience analysing time series data would be an advantage.

Remuneration: The Scholarship is valued at A$25,000 per annum tax exempt for a period of 3 years with a possible extension of six months.

Limited funding is available for research support and some travel associated with the project.
