The three-year studentship is funded by the Meat and Livestock Commission.
The project will examine factors controlling the tenderness and flavour of pigmeat, which are part of a programme funded by BPEX (the British Pig Executive) at Bristol.
Tax-free stipend: £12,000 per annum.
