PhD Studentship, Phage Biology/Molecular Microbiology, Napier University, UK

Applications are invited for one full-time, fully funded three-year PhD studentship within the School of Life Sciences.

The studentship will cover tuition fees to home/EU level, and will provide a standard living allowance (stipend), currently £12,300 per annum (subject to annual review).

Overseas students are eligible to apply, but will be liable to pay the difference between home/EU and overseas fees.

Note that fees are subject to change annually throughout the programme of study.

The studentship is expected to start in October.

Applicants must be highly motivated and should hold or expect to obtain at least a first or upper second class honours degree, or equivalent, in an appropriate subject area.

Applicants will be expected to have knowledge of, and practical experience in, microbiology and molecular biology.

Candidates whose first language is not English must meet the University's English language requirements.
