PhD Student Position in Cancer Models TU Munich, Germany

A graduate/doctoral student position is available in the laboratory of Prof. Dr. Angelika Schnieke, Chair for Livestock Biotechnology at the Technical University Munich.

The position is part of a project funded by the German Cancer Research Foundation (Deutsche Krebshilfe) to establish physiological animal models of human cancer.

Applicants should hold a master’s degree, or equivalent in biology, molecular biotechnology or a related field.

Previous laboratory experience in molecular biology, gene targeting, transgenic livestock and/or the derivation, cultivation and genetic manipulation of primary cells cultures is desirable.
