PhD Scholarships in Materials Science and Engineering: The Doctorate Program in Materials Science and Engineering (DocMASE) delivers 6 to 10 Erasmus Mundus scholarships for the best applicants of EU and non-EU countries every year.

Fellowships cover a fixed amount of travel costs (7500€) for third country students and a fixed monthly allowance for an employment contract for both, EU and third country students.

Apply for Scholarships: General Admission Criteria

Master of Science or an Engineering degree in the area of MSE, Chemistry or Physics with a background in materials or related engineering disciplines.

Students can still apply if they won't have finished their master or engineering studies before application deadline.

In this case, a professor's note has to be attached to your application attesting that you will have finished your studies by the application deadline of August.

Very good English language knowledge demonstrated with correspondent language certificates. Knowledge of other relevant languages like German, French, Spanish and Swedish are favorable.
