1. Regional Manager

Experience Required

  • Be a graduate with a professional management qualification; have worked in a senior management role for over 6 years.
  • Have relevant experience within the ethical trade sector and an understanding of international codes of practice and ethical standards
  • Hold knowledge of and relationships in international values chains – tea, coffee, vegetables, flowers, fruit etc possess excellent analytical and managerial skills.
  • Be capable of building, managing and motivating teams.

    1. Lead social auditors

    Requirements:

  • A degree in law, social science, environment, or business administration.
  • Completed 35 audit days.
  • SA 8000 and ISO 9000-1 qualifications;
  • A proven ability to plan, implement and generate high quality audit reports.
  • Ideal candidates will be able to multitask and to act on their own initiative.
  • Audit experience in agriculture, manufacturing, food safety, textile and environment will be an advantage, as will proficiency in French.

    2. Head of Capacity Building, Enterprise and Partnerships

    Requirements:

  • A degree in rural enterprise, business, development or a related discipline
  • At least eight years’ experience of working in a senior project/programme role
  • Existing knowledge of and relationships in international values chains – tea, coffee, vegetables, flowers, fruit etc
  • Experience of working on ethical trade standards in public private partnerships in Africa
  • Knowledge and experience of programme cycle management
  • Previous experience in preparation of programme proposals for funding agencies

    3. Executive Director

    Requirements:

  • Be a graduate with a professional management qualification;
  • Have worked in a senior management role for over 10 years;
  • Possess excellent financial, analytical and managerial skills;
  • Be capable of building, managing and motivating teams;
  • Have experience within the ethical trade sector, audit sector and/or trade development projects.
