Job Description

The objective of this program is the rehabilitation and equipment of the operating theatre and the transfer of skills to health care staff in surgery and obstetrics.

The Obstetric Gynecologist will participate to PHC/MH project implementation in Afabet Hospital and peripheral health facilities (provide trainings in pre and post natal care and high risk pregnancies follow up, organise on the job trainings in emergency obstetric surgery and contribute to the planning of project activities.

He will also have to coordinate with human resources and contribute to the preparation of periodical reports on project implementation.

Duration : 6 weeks

Status : volunteer

Monthly Allowance : 800 Euros + Daily subsistence

- Obstetric Gynecologist

- Experience of humanitarian work

- English fluent

- Experience of difficult working conditions is required

- Patience and energy, public relation and diplomacy
